For Intermediate wheel throwing you must already be able to center clay on the pottery wheel and form a cylinder without instruction. This class will build on your existing knowledge and focus on developing forms further. Projects may include pitchers, lidded jars, teapots and more!  They say the only thing possibly more satisfying than a perfectly fitting lid is a teapot or pitcher with the perfect pour;) This class is the perfect opportunity to have fun creating in a social learning environment.

Students will also learn various surface texture treatments and more advanced glazing techniques such as using wax resist and stains.

This class will meet once per week for 8 consecutive weeks starting on Saturday, April 29th.

Glazes, firing charges and one bag of clay per student are included in the class price. Similar to membership at Cascade, students can enjoy 24/7 access to the studio to work on projects. Community tools are provided or you may bring your own tools. Students get one 24 x 18 x 16 inch shelf to store projects and materials.
