Make a functioning compost jar for your counter! Students will be shown how to use slabs or coils to create a lidded jar sized to fit a compostable trash bag. You can explore surface texture with our many stamps, rollers, and carving tools. This is a great workshop if you want to learn different ways to make lidded forms and focus on functionality.
On the second workshop day after the jars have been fired in the kiln, students can return to glaze their pieces with several of our dipping glazes.
Finished pots will be available for pickup about one week after the glazing session. We will notify you by email when they are ready.
