This is the perfect class for anyone interested in trying pottery for the first time, for those who have had some clay experience and want a refresher on making things and glazing, those who are looking to looking to improve on their skills before taking a more advanced class, or someone looking for a new hobby, so basically a great class for everyone!

Students will learn basic techniques such as pinch pots, slab built forms, and coil pots all formed with just your hands and some simple tools. As you create projects, your instructor will teach about the different stages of clay and how to use it at each stage to your advantage. Students may create any forms they like with the techniques taught such as mugs, bowls, planters, vases, small busts, and much more! Students will also be taught about firing their work and glazing techniques. The possibilities with handbuilding are truly endless, and students are always encouraged to bring ideas for things they want help creating.
