Class dates: 4/30-6/18

What the class will cover:

This class is aimed at clay beginners, and will introduce students to some of the basics & fundamental techniques of handbuilding with clay. 

We will learn how to use slabs of clay to create dishes & a square jar or planter, coil pots, create small mugs & a fruit or vegetable sculpture by pinching technique. Projects are designed to introduce students to a variety of basic techniques for building with clay & adding texture, and adding attachments. 

Demonstrations will be aimed at beginners, though project accommodations can be offered for intermediate students – and students are welcome to work individually

Whats included in your class & some important studio info:

Glazes, firing fees and one bag of clay is included in the class & 24/7 access to studio space, tools, equipment, and glazes to practice their new skills and work on projects. Community tools are provided or you may bring your own. Students get one 24x18x16 inch shelf to store projects and materials.

Cancellations and refunds are subject to a 5% fee due to card processor fees. Refund requests must be made 2 weeks before the class start date, we cannot offer refunds within two weeks of the class starting.
