Make your own fairy house with Lily! On the first day of this workshop, September 14th, students will be provided clay to create small to medium slab built fairy houses. These can hold tea lights, cover things in the yard/garden or just be a decorative piece. You’ll be shown multiple ways to decorate your houses, with clay additions such as sprig molds, coils, and carving and may customize your fairy house however you want.
Students will return on Sept 28th to paint the fairy houses with glaze. Lily will first demonstrate glazing styles and techniques, then instruct as you glaze your fairy house. Finished pieces will be ready about 1-2 weeks later.
All materials provided & beginner friendly. Minimum age 16 please.
