In this one day workshop, students will learn to use slabs to creat vases in a variety of forms, like flower “bricks” with slots for single stems, wall-hanging vases and more! Lily will talk about the basics of constructing with slabs, as well as show you techniques to alter the clay with darting and templates to get the forms you want.
Students can choose from a selection of our studio glazes, and Lily will glaze your piece for you to pick up.
Bring your ideas, or just come for a day of creative play. All skill levels are welcome!
Tools and materials are provided. Finished pieces will be ready for pick up about 3 – 4 weeks after the workshop.
